Wanted to share a wonderful moment our family was so recently blessed to be a part of. My cousin-in-law Paul & his beautiful wife Tara are expecting their second bundle of joy. They decided to throw a "BIG REVEAL" bash to find out & share the baby's gender.
For those of you who have never heard of such a thing - this is such a cute idea! When it's time for your visit to find out your bambino's gender, here's what you do:
- Make sure the doctor knows NOT to tell you the gender!! Have him write it down and seal it up nice & tight in an envelope.
- NOOO PEEKING!!
- Make arrangements with a bakery for you to bring them the
golden ticketenvelope. Then they bake a cake with either blue (boy) or pink (girl) batter. The cake is to be decorated gender neutral, so there's lots of suspense!! - Have a get together to cut the cake and reveal the baby's gender.
The excitement is almost unbearable and so much fun.
